Jets Sweep Woodlan on a Windy Night in New Haven

Braving chilly temperatures and strong winds at Whispering Creek Golf Course, the Adams Central golf team delivered a commanding performance Monday evening, defeating conference rival Woodlan at both the Varsity and Junior Varsity levels. The Varsity squad took the win 168–193, posting their lowest 9-hole team score of the season. Mavrick Becher led the way with a sharp round of 38, while Drew Johnson followed with a 39. Trace Maller added a 44, Ashten Yergler shot a 47, and Jaret Smith finished with a 49. On the JV side, the Jets earned a 195–212 victory, showing strong consistency throughout the lineup. Max Kaehr fired the low round with a 46, while Coltan Landrum and Zach Frank each shot 48. Myles Kaehr posted a 53 and Brody Isch added a 56 to secure the team total. The dual victories mark a positive turning point as both squads gain momentum in conference play. The Jets will return home to host Southwood on Thursday, April 24.
