Southern Wells braved the cold weather to travel to Monroe to take on the Jets Monday night. The 7th grade game was a hard-fought battle that ended in a 39-33 Jets win. Jaxsen Foster and Mason Frey lead the team in scoring with 10 points. Will Schuman scored 7 points. Chandler Hirschy scored 6 points. JJ Smith scored 4 points and Cain Workinger finished with 2 points. The 8th grade also won by a score of 46-9. Godfrey Shoaf and Mason Manley both scored 12 points. Jordan Scheiner scored 11 points. Cruz Ripple scored 4 points. Elijah Kornmann scored 3 points. Isaiah Bedwell and Eli Schieferstein both finished with 2 points. The Jets played in the AC tournament this Saturday at 9:00 AM against Jay County. 7th and 8th grade play at the same time.
