Adams Central Athletics

On Wednesday, November 13, the Adams Central Middle School boys basketball team made the trip up to Garrett to open up the season. The 7th grade team came away with a 37-32 win in overtime. Leading all scorers for the Jets was Chandler Hirschy with 21 points. Five of those points came in overtime. Liam Ripley followed with 8 points, Mason Frey had 6points and Cain Workinger finished with 2 points. The 8the grade team opened the season up with a convincing 42-19 win over the Railroaders. Godfrey Shoaf was the leading scorer with 14 points followed by Cruz Ripple 8 points. Mason Manley scored 6 points, Layne Sipe scored 4 points, and Jordan Schiener scored 3 points. Truman Tomkinson, Eli Schieferstein, and Grant Geels all contributed 2 points apiece, while Elijah Kornmann finished with one point.
