The 7th grade Lady Jets won the ACAC tournament on Saturday without dropping a set, rounding out the season with a perfect ACAC record of 9-0 and 19-3 on the season. The Lady Jets beat Jay County 25-18, 25-12; South Adams 25-13, 25-22; and Heritage (Championship match) 25-16, 25-12. The Jets were led by Slone Schortgen with 16 assists, 15 digs, 13 aces and 12 kills on the day. Jentrie Schaefer had 19 kills, 5 aces and 1 assist. Kelsey Beaver had 11 aces, 7 digs, 1 assist and 2 kills. Alivia Gilbert had 6 kills, 2 digs, 1 ace and 1 assist. Brielle Grover had 10 assists and 4 digs. Kate Hurst had 4 aces, 2 kills, and 1 dig. Claira Foreman had 4 kills and 1 dig. Meg Hildebrand had 2 kills and 1 dig while Hallie Schaefer had 1 kill and 3 aces. Kenli Landis had 4 digs, and Jocie Ogg had 1 dig. The Lady Jets finished the year as ACAC Tournament Champions, ACAC Season Champions and Jay County Tournament Champions!
