Adams Central Athletics

The 7th Grade AC Lady Jets came home with a trophy on Saturday, winning the Jay County Invite in straight sets and defeating Bluffton (25-7, 25-22) Jay County (scores unavailable), and South Adams (25-17, 25-17). The Lady Jets had several stat leaders for the day. Slone Schortgen had 18 digs, 18 assists, 13 aces and 7 kills. Jentrie Schaefer had 14 kills, 1 block, 3 digs and 6 aces. Brielle Grover had 12 assists, 11 aces and 2 digs. Alivia Gilbert had 8 kills, 9 aces, 2 digs and 1 assist. Kelsey Beaver had 10 aces, 6 digs, 3 assists and 1 kill. Hallie Schaefer had 6 kills, 2 digs and 5 aces. Jocie Ogg had 5 digs and 1 ace. Claira Foreman had 2 kills, 2 digs and 1 assist. Ahni Reinhard had 1 kill and 2 digs. Meg Hildebrand had 2 kills while Kate Hurst had 1 kill. The Lady Jets (14-3) will play Blackhawk Christian at home on Tuesday at 5pm!
