Adams Central Athletics

At the Eastern Noble Regionals held at Noble Hawk Golf Links, freshman Londyn Smith represented the Adams Central Lady Jets Golf Team. The day proved challenging due to high winds gusting up to 40 mph stemming from Hurricane Helene, testing all the golfers on a tough course known for rewarding good hits and punishing mistakes. Londyn, who had the first tee time of the day, managed to navigate the difficult conditions admirably. She shot a 52 on the front nine and improved to a 49 on the back, finishing with a total of 101. This score placed her 54th out of 90 participants, wrapping up her debut season impressively. Over the year, Londyn achieved three top 10 tournament finishes, was the medalist in five consecutive meets to close out the season, and won the ACAC championship. Her outstanding performance this season signals a bright future for both Londyn Smith and the Adams Central Lady Jets, who are poised to be a strong contender in the years ahead.
