Adams Central Athletics

On Saturday, the Adams Central Girls golf team competed at the Homestead Sectional, held at Chestnut Hills Golf Club, concluding their season with a commendable 4th place finish out of 11 teams and a team score of 431. While Homestead, Norwell, and South Adams secured the top three positions, it was a significant day for Adams Central. Freshman standout Londyn Smith, who scored a 98, emerged as the sole qualifier from Adams Central moving on to the Regional competition at Noble Hawk Golf Club next Friday. The Lady Jets continued their solid showing with freshman Tenley Hendricks shooting a 108, senior Lilly Hurst with a 110, sophomore Lily Johnson with a 115, and junior Sophie Johnson with a 123. This tournament marks the end of the season for the Lady Jets, with Smith carrying forward the team's aspirations into the next round of competition. They finished their season 7-3 and 4-2 in conference play.
