Adams Central Athletics

Adams Central 7th grade won last night against Heritage 25-11, 25-20. Alivia Gilbert led the stat column for kills with 10 recorded on the night. Slone Schortgen had 6 kills, 5 digs, 4 aces and 7 assists. Brielle Grover had a great night at 3 aces, 100% serving and 6 assists. Jentrie Schaefer had 6 kills and 3 aces. Finally, Kelsey Beaver, the libero, had a fantastic night of passing the serve receive as well as registering 4 digs. The Jets will travel to St. John Emmanuel on Thursday evening. 6th grade plays at 5:30. 7th at 6:30 and 8th at 7:30pm. Adams Central's 8th grade struggled in the beginning of both sets coming back from a deficit. They all fought hard but still came up short. Brielle Yergler lead the team with 6 kills, 4 digs and 2 aces. Oakley Becher had a great night with 7 digs & 1 kill. Abby Kaehr had 3 kills & 4 digs while Karly Hackenjos and Macie Fisher both had 3 assists.
