AC traveled to Eastside Saturday morning and came away with a 20-14 win. The defense was led by interceptions from Harper Hammond and Barrett Collier. David Fisher also forced a fumble that Kale Rathbun recovered. Tackles for loss were recorded by Max Nussbaum and Collier. The offense was led by a 100+ yard passing effort by Collier. He threw a 20-yard TD to Ashton Yergler and a 61-yard TD to Vance Miller. Yergler picked up more than 50 receiving yards on some big catches for the Jets. Collier scored the last TD on the ground on a 5-yard run and converted the 2-point conversion on a pass to Yergler. The JV team continues its season as it travels to Muncie Central this Saturday morning.
