The Jets got things started right away Monday night with a 75-yard kick return by Thomas Laughlin. Laughlin would later score a rushing TD from 23 yards out and return another kickoff for a TD (70 yards). Vance Miller scored twice from 7 and 36 yards. Barrett Collier scored the final TD for the Jets on a 26-yard run, which was made possible by a 30-yard 3rd down conversion pass to Ashton Yergler on the previous play. Collier also converted two 2-pt conversions to Myles Kaehr and Reece Hammond. The defense was led by several tackles for loss by Ethan Smith (2), Vance Miller (1), Aydan Grubbs (1) and Myles Kaehr (1). The Jets travel to Eastside Saturday morning at 10:00am for the second game of the season.
