Adams Central Athletics

Adams Central's MS volleyball kicked off their season at the Barney Schultz Classic Tournament at St. Joe on Saturday. AC finished 2nd beating Bellmont (25-16, 25-13) - Central Lutheran (25-9, 25-12) and St. Charles (25-9, 27-25). AC lost in the championship to St. Joe 13-25, 24-26. Leading the Jets was Slone Schortgen with 17 kills, 2 block assists, 15 digs, 12 aces, and 32 assists. Alivia Gilbert had 15 kills and 10 aces. Jentrie Schaefer had 10 kills, 5 digs, and 5 assists. Kelsey Beaver finished with 20 aces, 8 digs, and 8 assists. The Lady Jets next match is at Parkway on September 5 at 5pm.
