2024 IHSAA SOFTBALL SECTIONAL #36 All games held at South Adams HS Admission: $7.00 session / $15 season Tickets are available on Eventlink - https://public.eventlink.com/tickets?t=80721 Rain Out Schedule: If any of the sessions get rained out, we will push the schedule back a day. We will not play on Friday, May 24. Saturday, May 25, will be used as a make-up day. With a Tuesday Regional, we will do what it takes to not play the Championship on Monday so teams can use that to prepare for Regional. If only 1 Semi-Final game needs re-scheduled for Saturday: Semi-Final game (game 4): Time will be decided by an agreement of the teams playing Championship (game 5) If 2 Semi-Final games need re-scheduled for Saturday: Semi-Final game (game 3) - 10:00am Semi-Final game (game 4) - 30 minutes after the completion of previous game Championship (game 5) - 5:00pm The second named team in each game throughout the entire tournament is always designated as the HOME team. The home team shall have the choice of dugout except when participating against the host school. South Adams' dugout is on the 3rd base line. ADVANCEMENT: The softball Regional is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28. The winner of Sectional #36 will play the winner of Sectional #35 (hosted by Central Noble). The winner of Sectional 36 will be the host of the Regional contest and be considered the home team. IHSAA Restrictions: 1. Balloons, banners, placards and/or posters, etc. are not permitted. 2. No battery-powered or electronic noisemakers, sirens or whistles are allowed. 3. Cheerleaders are not permitted on the playing field. 4. The use of bands is not permitted. 5. No live animal mascots are permitted.
