Adams Central Athletics

The Adams Central Flying Jets fell just short of the Parkway Panthers by a score of 9-7 last Friday. Melina Peralez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Thomas, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Adams Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Parkway, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2-1. Adams Central will head out on the road to square off against Woodlan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodlan is coming into the match with four straight wins at home, so Adams Central will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
