Varsity vs Norwell High School (2 - 3) Loss Tonight was the first regular match of the season. The ladies came out and fought hard. 2 Doubles had a quick win. Then Hillary went into a 10 pt tie-breaker instead of a 3rd set and won. They fell short with a 2-3 loss. 1 singles Hillary Tobias won against Addy Heyerly 5-7, 6-2, 10-4 2 singles Melanie Bertsch lost against Delaney Hoover 5-7, 2-6 3 singles Macy McClure lost against Macie Saalfrank 3-6, 0-6 1 doubles Alayna McCullough and Alaina Bertsch lost against Annabelle Johnson and Macy Felger 1-6, 4-6 2 doubles Alexa Brotherton and Anna Leyse won against Jordyn Xayyachack and Ciera Hiester 6-2, 6-4 JV had many anticipated nerves with 11 new players. They also lost. However, they played hard and learned a lot. They are excited to grow in the season ahead.
