Adams Central Athletics

The JV football team hosted South Adams on Monday and won 46-14. Vance Miller led the scoring with 3 touchdown runs (5, 3 and 82 yards). Jami Roach added a TD with a 26-yard run and threw two TD passes: one for 2 yards to Braylend Reber and another for 46 yards to Joey Everett. Reber also caught a 2-pt conversion, Miller ran two in and Xander Schwartz ran one in. The defensive effort was led by several hard tackles by Trevor Henry. Tackles for loss were logged by Hayden Bluhm, Holden Schumm and Ryder Hamm. Miller, Marcus Bollenbacher and Gus Nussbaum sacked the QB. Schumm recovered a fumble and Lawson Deathe intercepted a pass. The Jets host Southern Wells next week.
