Timber Ridge unfolded under mostly sunny skies and a slight breeze, the kind of April day that rewards the player who commits to every shot. The Adams Central Jets’ varsity card turned in 185, good enough to compete but not enough to catch Bluffton’s 165. The Jets leaned on Drew Johnson, who claimed Adams Central’s medalist honors with a 40 that put his name at the top of the sheet. Brody Isch’s 44 and Mavrick Becher’s 47 gave the lineup a solid spine, while Coltan Landrum and Ashton Yergler filled out the scoring five. Bluffton’s Raefe matched Drew’s 40 to take the overall medalist, but Adams Central’s effort showed a team that can grind out competitive rounds when the top of the order delivers. Adams Central’s JV group posted a 223 at Timber Ridge, with Bluffton taking the win. Owen Macklin led the Jets with a 54, followed by Damien Saalfrank at 56 and Cruz Ripple at 55.
